volunteer Opportunities

The Butterfly Collective is seeking volunteers to assist on our committees. We are currently seeking volunteers for the Development Committee, Event Committee, Communications Committee, Donation Committee, Program Committee, Finance Committee, and Advisory Committee.     Responsible for developing a long-range fund development plan for TBC with a mix of strategies. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Write grants
    • Develop an annual fundraising campaign,
    • Seek In-kind gifts
    • Develop a case for support
    • Seek new donors
    • Develop revenue goals
    • Develop an Action Plan

    Responsible for TBC annual events. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Develop event logistics
    • Develop event budget
    • Secure sponsorships
    • Secure volunteer support
    • Report event summary to board

    The communications committee will have oversight of all matters that relate to communicating with donors, stakeholders, media, etc. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Create awareness of TBC by creating marketing campaigns
    • Promote events
    • Create advertising/messaging and post on social media platforms
    • Create all printed publications, such as brochures, flyers, informational pieces, etc.
    • Manage website content

    The Donation Committee will be responsible for survivor donations. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Collect donations of items and furniture
    • Deliver items to a survivor in need
    • Maintain a written inventory of donated items
    • Seek storage facility
    • Provide in-kind receipts to donors

    A program committee will have oversight of TBC programming and evaluate existing programs. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Oversee existing program s
    • Develop new programs as needed
    • Report to Board of Directors
    • Keep and record outcomes
    • Develop and update intake forms as needed.
    • Review intake process

    The finance committee is responsible for the financial well being of TBC. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Provided accurate and explanatory financial reports to the board
    • Oversight of the annual budget
    • Provide Tax information
    • Oversight of fundraising budgets

    A collection of individuals/friends of the mission who bring unique knowledge and skills to enhance the efforts of TBC. These individuals do not need to meet but will make themselves available for advice and support.
